Cookie Policy

Information about cookies and similar technologies used on ScalePlant websites.

Last updated: 26 March 2025

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They help sites function, remember preferences, and understand how services are used.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to: (a) operate the site and keep you signed in where applicable; (b) remember preferences such as language; (c) measure traffic and performance; and (d) improve security and prevent abuse.

We only use non-essential cookies (such as analytics or marketing) where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

3. Types of cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for core functionality (for example security, load balancing, or session management) and do not require consent under UK/EU ePrivacy rules.

Functional cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content and performance.

Marketing cookies may be used to deliver or measure advertising relevance. We will only activate these where you have consented.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use (for example embedded content or analytics). Those providers have their own privacy and cookie notices. We recommend reviewing their policies.

Where we embed Calendly’s scheduling widget, Calendly may set or read cookies and similar technologies as part of providing its booking service. Details are set out in Calendly’s cookie and privacy notices. Where we hide Calendly’s separate cookie banner on our embed, we rely on our own cookie consent (see section 5) and the disclosures in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Managing preferences

You can control cookies through our cookie banner and preference controls where available. You can also adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.

If you withdraw consent to non-essential cookies, we will stop using them as soon as practicable, subject to technical limitations.

6. Do not track

There is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals. We currently do not respond to such signals beyond applying the choices you make in our cookie tools.

7. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. Please review this page periodically for the latest information.
